How is it different from traditional ongoing therapy?
Traditional Therapy usually involves meeting with the same therapist regularly to explore deeper patterns, work through challenges over time, and build long-term strategies for growth and healing.
Single Session Therapy is different. It’s designed as a stand-alone, focused appointment where you and your therapist work on what feels most important right now. The goal is to help you walk away from one session with fresh insight, practical tools, or a sense of clarity.
Some clients choose Single Session Therapy when they’re facing a specific decision, challenge, or stressful moment. Others use it as a way to “test out” therapy before deciding if ongoing sessions are right for them.
For people who already see a therapist regularly, Single Sessions can also be used as maintenance check-ins between appointments, or as a way to receive temporary support from another therapist if your regular therapist is away for training, illness, or vacation.
If you discover you’d like continued support, you can always transition into traditional therapy afterward or have a few more Single Sessions. There’s no obligation to commit.
