You’re Tired of Pretending You’re Fine When You’re Not
Some days feel like you’re drowning in emotions you can’t explain—anger that comes out of nowhere, shame that lingers long after the moment has passed, or fear that keeps you stuck in the same painful cycles. Maybe you’ve used substances to numb the pain or quiet your thoughts, only to find yourself feeling worse. You know something needs to change, but it feels overwhelming. You’re not broken—you’re surviving.
Living with Trauma Feels Like Carrying Armour Every Day
Living with the weight of trauma, whether it’s complex PTSD from years of unresolved pain or the impact of a single life-altering event, can feel like you’re constantly walking through life with armour on. It’s exhausting to stay guarded all the time. You may be hyper-independent, avoidant, or constantly apologizing for existing. Underneath that is a deep longing to feel safe—in your body, in your relationships, and in your life.
When Holding It Together Is Just Another Way of Falling Apart
Maybe you’re someone who holds it together all day but unravels at night. You want to feel in control, but instead, you’re caught in loops of self-blame, emotional shutdowns, or impulsive decisions. Maybe your relationships are suffering—you’re either pushing people away or clinging to the hope they’ll stay, even when it’s painful. The weight of shame and confusion makes it hard to know where to even begin.
That’s where I come in.
I’m Faye, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I work with people who are navigating the complex intersection of trauma, mood disorders, and substance use. My role isn’t to “fix” you—because you’re not broken. My role is to walk alongside you as you unlearn survival strategies that no longer serve you, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may feel lost, shut down, or stuck in the past.
From survival to self-trust.
Once you feel more regulated, we’ll explore who you are outside of survival mode. In our work together, you’ll learn to recognize your emotional triggers, develop tools for regulation that actually work for you, and build the kind of internal safety that helps you feel more grounded in daily life. We’ll move at your pace, with compassion and curiosity, not judgment. Whether it’s building emotional resilience, healing from traumatic relationships, or reducing reliance on substances, we’ll focus on what recovery and peace look like for you.
This work is hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. Let’s take the next step.
Let’s connect for a free 20-minute consultation and explore what it could feel like to have support that truly meets you where you’re at. You deserve a future that isn’t defined by your past.

Helping you untangle trauma, stabilize your mood, and reclaim a sense of control.
You’ve learned how to survive—but not how to rest.
On the outside, you might seem capable, even strong. But inside, there’s a constant battle—rage that catches you off guard, shame that clings to everything, and sadness that sinks in before you even open your eyes. You try to stay busy or numb the pain just to get through the day, but it keeps coming back. Maybe you've used substances to quiet your mind or keep the feelings from flooding in—and now, that’s starting to feel like a trap too.
There’s a part of you that wants something different. You’re tired of the outbursts, the shutdowns, the guilt. You want peace—but more than that, you want to feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time). You want to know what it's like to feel safe in your own body, to be in control of your emotions, and to believe that your past doesn’t get to dictate your future.
I specialize in supporting people who are carrying heavy emotional histories—trauma that never got processed, patterns that feel impossible to break, and coping strategies that once helped but now hurt. Together, we’ll build safety, clarity, and resilience. We’ll make sense of the chaos, explore who you are beneath survival mode, and begin to rebuild from a place of self-trust.
You don’t have to keep white-knuckling your way through life. Let’s start untangling the knots—together.
