Hi! I’m so glad you’re here and can’t wait to work with you in the great outdoors. Walk and talk therapy is a wonderful way to connect our conversation with movement, which can feel more relaxed than a sit-down conversation.
Safety is a core element of our therapeutic relationship. Covid-19 mitigation is an important part of our mutual safety during in-person appointments as a result of the ongoing health challenges associated with Covid-19 and other viruses circulating in our community.
Before your appointment, please complete the following self-assessment tool to ensure you are symptom-free.
Additionally, completing a rapid test for Covid-19 is important. Tests can be acquired for free at many pharmacies. A negative test does not necessarily mean you do not have Covid-19, but it does provide some additional assurance in combination with the self-assessment tool. If you are unable to complete a test before our appointment, please wear a mask during our time together since a-symptomatic spread is common (see full article for additional details).
For your peace of mind, I can share that masking with an n95 mask is a consistent part of my lifestyle when in shared indoor spaces. I will also ensure I have also completed the same screener and rapid test ahead of our appointment.
If your level of comfort would be better supported by mutually masking at your appointment, in combination with the above mitigation efforts, please let me know. I am happy to support this need and will always have masks with me.
If you are experiencing symptoms of any kind, please inform me before your appointment and we can complete your appointment virtually. I am unable to complete your appointment in-person if you are experiencing viral symptoms and appreciate your efforts to ensure our appointments are mutually safe.
I look forward to walking on this journey alongside you.
Talk soon,
Kristen
